Emily is an award-winning medical illustrator and animator. Prior to joining the New England Journal of Medicine in 2022 as a Senior Medical and Scientific Illustrator, Emily was a Video Producer at the Journal of the American Medical Association and the JAMA Network. In that capacity, her wide-ranging artistic style and vision helped grow and establish the video program at JAMA. Emily is a boardCertified Medical Illustrator (CMI). She holds a Master of Arts in Medical and Biological Illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the Natalie Koscal University of California, Irvine.
